Quick Archery Tips

At Archery Mastery 2 your archery damage will roughly equal your melee damage on non-rooted, non-running mobs. This is when you can start using archery on raids without losing dps. At Archery Mastery 3 your archery damage will eclipse your melee damage for the foreseeable future.

Archery works a lot like melee for several mechanics.

A mob can dodge and parry incoming arrows when fired from the front (impressive, right?) So for optimal dps you want to be hitting from the back or flank if possible.

Arrows push! Just like melee attacks, arrows do push the mob. So when it’s time to wall pin, where you fire from matters.
